I am very happy to note our grateful thanks to Russ for giving us a fantastic holiday on his June 2009 Mountain Paradise Tour. From my first email enquiry back in December 2008, Russ replied in a timely manner to my many questions and took personal control in organising our Bike rental, airport pick up/ drop off and other incidentals that larger organisations would show little interest in.
The tour structure and pace was just right, proving time and again that local knowledge is worth its weight in gold as we missed the crowds to enjoy the roads and scenery almost to ourselves.
We quickly adapted to the slower speed limits giving us the time to fully appreciate the mountains and towns we passed through. The overnight accommodations were first class and everyone we met were friendly and welcoming.
We look forward to the next time.
