Day 2 - 215 miles: Arrive at the the Train Station, in Sanford, Fl., and head down the back roads of “Old Florida” as we make our way towards the Gulf Coast and onto the first of the not so famous Florida Keys.
Day 3 – 260 Miles: As we head south we will ride some of the hidden roads that ride along the ocean. As we make our way into the Everglades we will stop for an air boat ride and something’s that you will remember for a lifetime! Then it’s a great ride across Alligator Alley and later in the day leaving the Continent of the US and begin our Island hoping. Night two we will stay at a resort with a our own private beach that you will never want to leave.
Day 4 - 85 Miles: We can ride across the 7 Mile Bridge during the sunrise if the group would wants or sleep in and ride later; hey, were in the keys nothing moves fast! As we make our way south, we stop at different Keys along the way. You will start to really get into the island living lifestyle, and then we arrive at the southern most point in the continental USA… KEY WEST! So park the bike and grab a Drink!
Day 5 - 0 Guided Miles You have the entire day to ride, walk, explore, swim, dive ,lay in a hammock or just sit and eat fresh caught stone crabs while listening to Jimmy Buffet music and watching the famous Key West sunset… it’s your day in the Keys. There is so much to do and we have some special pricing activities or even rent a scooter if you want!
Day 6 - 235 miles: No one will want to leave the keys but you will always remember your time there and the sunrises and sunsets that you experienced. We will head north into the sugar growing area of Florida you will see so much land and experience a relaxing ride with no traffic for about 125 miles. Don’t worry we know where the gas station is… soon we will arrive at Lake Okeechobee, (2nd Largest Lake in the USA), with an evening at a Haunted Inn!
Day 7 - 200 miles: Our last morning is a ride around the Lake and back into Central Florida; This is a great relaxing ride where you will get to see some of old small town America. Yes it is still there you just need to know where to find it! We end back in Sanford, Florida. At the Train Station about 2:00
Day 8 - Arrive in Lorton, Va 8:00 am

6/5 Trains, Bikes & Battlefields Tour
***Before the Tour Begins our clients will get a Sneak Peek at the areas of the train that are off limits to most! No Cameras will be allowed for this private showing. ***
Day 1) 500 Train Miles This ride begins in Sanford Florida, at the Amtrak Train Station. We load your bikes and a get you checked into your private sleepers. While on the train you will be invited to a wine and cheese tasting, in the lounge car, the perfect way to relax and meet the rest of your tour group. After Dinner you can relax in your room or hang out in the lounge and continue socializing with the tour group before retiring for the evening.
Day 2) 100 Motorcycle Miles & 500 Train Miles After A light continental breakfast, available from 6am till 9am it will be time to get ready to ride! As we roll into the station, in Lorton, VA., (About 5 minutes from Downtown DC). Our Bikes will be the first to be off loaded and removed from their special Auto Train Pallets and away we go. After a short ride around the capital we will work our way onto the back roads of Virginia. (These rides are all designed so that we are in DC on Sunday morning; this is when the traffic is the lightest.) Today we will see Battlefields, Caverns and Breathtaking views as you get the chance to ride through this historic part of America and begin too really unwind. The historic inn for this evening is one of elegance and rich history.
Day 3) 200 Motorcycle Miles In the morning we head further west, into West Virginia, and into some great mountain riding through several national forests. We will ride on roads that are now paved, but at one time where actual civil war trails. Past farms and plantations that look like they did over a hundred years ago. You will find yourself in areas of the Virginias far removed from the Interstate highway system and the very commercial tourist areas. The historic lodging for tonight is back in Virginia and was the past home of a Confederate Civil War Colonel that at one time was used as a Fort.
Day 4) 200 Motorcycle Miles As we head further east into Virginia we ride towards an area that was once home to some of America’s founding fathers. We will stop at several places, along the way, and you will have the chance to walk around and explore. One stop is at the Spotsylvania Battlefield, it is known as the site of the bloodiest battle of the Civil War. Relic hunting is illegal on national battlefields. However, the lodging for tonight is on private property which is also part of the battlefield. Musket balls litter the property and cannon balls have even been found there. This is a rare opportunity for people in our group!
Day 5) 55 Motorcycle Miles & 500 Train Miles Our last day brings us heading east towards Fredericksburg and into history. We will visit of several homes that were used as hospitals and headquarters for the Union and Confederate armies. You will get the chance to walk in a quiet setting and feel the past come to life. We then make our way back to Lorton and get your bikes loaded on the Auto Train and you back into your private rooms. Dinner and great conversation, photo sharing and the exchange of experiences with your new friends will most certainly consume most of evening!
Day 6) 500 Train Miles Arrive back in Sanford around 9A.M. unload the bikes and say your good-byes. Congratulations you have just finished your 1st class motorcycle vacation! Included: All private train accommodations, transportation of your bike on the Amtrak Auto Train, all lodging while on tour, 5 breakfasts, 5 dinners, all parking fees, all entrance fees, a video of the trip.
Not included: Motorcycle, fuel, personal items, evening drinks (alcoholic), lunch, souvenirs.It is important to always wear the appropriate gear, from motorcycle rain jackets to comfortable riding gear.
